Accounting Director - Assisted Living Facility Sunshine Christian Homes is seeking an experienced and dependable Accounting Director to oversee the financial operations of our assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in healthcare or assisted living accounting.

MUST HAVE MEDICAID BILLING EXPERIENCE

Medicaid billing experience is required for this position. Key Responsibilities Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, billing, and general accounting . Manage resident billing, collections, and Medicaid billing and reimbursements . Prepare and review monthly and annual financial reports. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial performance. Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable regulations. Coordinate audits and work with external auditors. Work closely with the Administrator and leadership team on financial planning and facility operations. Maintain confidentiality of resident, employee, and company financial information. Qualifications Previous accounting management or Accounting Director experience preferred. Medicaid billing experience

REQUIRED.

Experience in assisted living, healthcare, long-term care, or senior living preferred . Strong knowledge of accounting principles, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
