This energetic position offers the opportunity to coordinate property activities, support leasing operations, and enhance tenant satisfaction through proactive management and exceptional customer service. You will work closely with property teams to uphold high standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency, all while fostering positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily property operations, including maintenance coordination, tenant relations, and administrative tasks. Support lease or rental agreement management by reviewing contracts, processing applications, and ensuring lease compliance. Utilize property management tools such as Appfolio to track rent payments, maintenance requests, and occupancy data accurately. Maintain up-to-date records related to property maintenance, legal documentation, and tenant files through efficient data entry and filing practices. Collaborate with property management teams to oversee budgeting processes and monitor expenses to ensure financial goals are met. Handle client communication with professionalism via phone and email, addressing inquiries promptly and effectively. Support conflict management efforts by mediating tenant concerns and resolving issues in accordance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law. Assist in coordinating property maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and vendor interactions using Appfolio Contribute to facilities management initiatives by supporting safety protocols, compliance standards such as LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 programs, and other regulatory requirements. Participate in upselling opportunities for additional services or lease extensions to maximize occupancy rates. Requirements Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of lease or rental agreement management. Familiarity with property management software Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, and legal administrative procedures. Demonstrated ability to manage conflict effectively while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Strong organizational skills with experience in data entry, filing systems, budgeting processes, and office administration. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and client relationship management capabilities. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with facilities management practices including property maintenance coordination and safety compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and correspondence purposes. Team management skills are a plus; previous experience supervising staff or vendors is desirable.
