Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Manager, Construction & Facilities, to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, cost control, and team leadership, with a passion for driving projects forward with energy and precision. Duties Lead construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects start to finish Manage contractors, vendors, and internal teams Own project budgets, schedules, and deliverables Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and safety requirements Oversee day-to-day facilities operations and maintenance Report progress and risks to leadership Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate construction timelines effectively. Manage project budgets by overseeing cost estimates, tracking expenses with HeavyBid or comparable tools, and implementing cost control measures. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams by reviewing construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to ensure clarity and accuracy. Monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, environmental standards, and contractual obligations. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for document control, progress tracking, and communication across teams. Lead project meetings to review progress updates, resolve issues promptly, and maintain momentum toward project milestones. Oversee contract administration including reviewing contracts, change orders, and ensuring all work aligns with contractual specifications. Manage project documentation including schedules, reports, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and daily logs. Supervise construction teams on-site by providing clear direction on construction schedules coordination and task prioritization. Ensure all projects meet regulatory compliance requirements related to construction regulations and safety standards. Foster a collaborative environment by managing multiple stakeholders' expectations while maintaining focus on project goals. Requirements 3+ years in construction or facilities management Proven track record managing complex projects and budgets Strong leadership, communication, and vendor-management skills Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, etc.) PMP or similar certification a plus Bachelor's degree preferred, not required Proven experience managing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects with a focus on civil or commercial construction. Strong proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar tools; experience with ProCore or Bluebeam is highly desirable. Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management practices using HeavyBid or equivalent software. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction plans—including schematics and blueprints—and schematics effectively. Hands-on experience working on construction sites with a thorough understanding of construction regulations and safety protocols. Excellent project scheduling skills coupled with the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously. Effective team leadership skills with experience managing contractors and internal teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for clear documentation and stakeholder engagement across all levels of the organization. Familiarity with civil 3D or other design software is advantageous for coordinating site layouts or infrastructure plans. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently through excellent time management skills.
