Physician/Medical Director - Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Physician / Medical Director to join our team and oversee the delivery of clinical care in skilled nursing facilities. The ideal candidate is a board-certified or board-eligible physician with experience or strong interest in post-acute and long-term care medicine. The Medical Director will provide patient care, lead clinical quality initiatives, and support the interdisciplinary care team in improving outcomes and quality of life for residents. Position requires to cover 2 facilities (1 in the Milford, MA area and 1 in the Natick, MA area. Only 1 facility per day) Duties Provide high-quality primary and acute care to residents in skilled nursing facilities Serve as Medical Director, providing clinical oversight and leadership for facility staff and advanced practitioners Collaborate with nursing staff, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives and attend required facility meetings Work directly with providers to mentor and educate them on our care process and determine what can be done to improve overall care quality. Qualifications MD or DO with an active and unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics Prior experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, or long-term care preferred Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Full-time Pay:
$275,000.00 - $325,000.00 per year
