The Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, cleanliness, and appearance of the casino property. This position oversees building systems, preventative maintenance, janitorial operations, vendor coordination, and capital improvement projects while ensuring the facility remains safe, clean, and compliant with all applicable regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Facilities & Maintenance Oversee the daily maintenance and operation of the facility. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules. Coordinate repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, flooring, lighting, kitchen equipment, and other building systems. Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance and safety concerns. Maintain equipment, tools, and maintenance records. Respond to facility emergencies and coordinate corrective actions. Assist with renovation projects and capital improvements. Purchase maintenance supplies and equipment. Manage maintenance budgets and control expenses. Janitorial & Housekeeping Oversee all janitorial operations to ensure the property is clean, sanitized, and guest-ready always. Supervise housekeeping and janitorial staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Develop cleaning schedules and quality standards for all public, gaming, restaurant, office, restroom, and back-of-house areas. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and appearance standards are maintained. Manage inventories of cleaning supplies and equipment. Coordinate specialty cleaning services, including carpet care, floor maintenance, window cleaning, and pressure washing as needed. Ensure compliance with all sanitation, health, and safety standards. Vendor & Contractor Management Coordinate and supervise outside contractors and service vendors. Obtain quotes, schedule work, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Review contractor performance and maintain vendor relationships. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire, health, gaming, and local building regulations. Maintain emergency procedures and assist with safety training. Conduct routine facility safety inspections and address deficiencies promptly. Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of facilities management, commercial maintenance, or property management experience. Previous supervisory experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or janitorial operations preferred. Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring, painting, and general building maintenance. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing demands. Experience working with contractors and vendors. Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic maintenance management software. Valid driver's license required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-ins as needed.
Pay:
$58,600.00 - $63,000.00 per year
