Job Description

Be a Part of our Winning Team! One of New England's most prestigious country clubs is hiring. The Aquidneck Club is searching for a Full Time Maintenance Specialist Assistant. The position demands enthusiasm and passion for the hospitality industry. Day to day environment will include alternating between independent projects as well as direct interaction with members and team members. Join our facilities team as a Maintenance Specialist Assistant and help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment every day. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on team member who takes pride in keeping our buildings and grounds operating smoothly and efficiently.
Schedule & Hours The Days:
Wednesday through
Sunday The Hours:
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Includes a 30-minute paid lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks)
Overtime Perks:
Occasional evening on-call hours may be required for emergencies (compensated at time-and-a-half).

Company Paid Life Insurance Key Responsibilities Routine & Preventative Maintenance:
Execute general facility repairs, including addressing plumbing anomalies, reinforcing hardware, and resolving minor electrical issues efficiently.
Facilities Upkeep & Aesthetics:
Perform precision wall patching, spot painting, and surface restoration to maintain high-quality aesthetic and safety standards across the property.
Safety & Compliance Inspections:
Conduct regular systematic inspections of structural elements, lighting configurations, and emergency systems to ensure full operational compliance.
Asset & Inventory Management:
Maintain accountability for tools and equipment while optimizing supply inventory levels and organizing storage facilities for maximum efficiency. Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. General knowledge of hand and power tools. Experience with basic carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work is a plus. Valid driver's license.
