Job Summary:
The Safety & Facilities Manager is responsible for coordinating and administering the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs while maintaining the company's warehouse, office, and grounds. This position serves as the primary coordinator for safety compliance across field operations, warehouse activities, contracted vendors, and customer-required safety programs. The role also oversees facility maintenance, vendor management, building services, and capital improvement projects. The Safety & Facilities Manager serves as the primary safety liaison between the company, its employees, customers, regulatory agencies, insurance providers, subcontractors, and facility vendors. Expected T ime Allocation 10% Facility inspections and vendor coordination 15% Facility projects and maintenance oversight 25% Customer contractor compliance packages and documentation 20% Safety training and record management 20% Field audits, fleet audits, and warehouse inspections 10% Incident investigations, fleet safety management, and reporting This position is not responsible for warehouse receiving, shipping, inventory management, or logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety & Compliance Lead and administer company safety programs for field and warehouse operations Maintain OSHA compliance and required safety documentation Manage OSHA logs, audits, inspections, and corrective action programs Coordinate employee safety training and certification programs Conduct field observations, warehouse inspections, and safety audits Support driver safety training and fleet compliance initiatives Investigate incidents, near misses, and vehicle accidents Serve as the primary point of contact for customer safety requirements Manage contractor safety compliance and customer prequalification programs Support emergency preparedness and business continuity initiatives Facilities Management Oversee maintenance and operation of the warehouse and office facility Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and other building services Manage facility vendors and service contractors Coordinate preventive maintenance programs Support facility improvement projects and capital upgrades Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment Qualifications Required 5+ years of experience in safety, EHS, facilities management, operations, or a related field Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance programs Experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills Experience working with contractors, vendors, and customer compliance requirements Proficiency with Microsoft Office Preferred OSHA 30 Certification CSP, OHST, or other safety-related certifications Experience supporting field service, construction, energy, utility, telecommunications, or industrial operations Experience administering fleet safety programs Experience managing warehouse or industrial facilities Key Traits for
