The Warehouse Associate is responsible for completing daily warehouse functions that will satisfy customer requirements and expectations and for assisting the company's Warehouse Supervisors in maintaining the day to day material processing both inbound/outbound. Handle, truck and store raw materials, merchandise and supplies, between receiving and shipping docks in warehouse, manufacturing or processing areas. This job will require candidate to load and unload trailers accurately and safely, all while operating a forklift. Scan and physically move corrugated and consumable units throughout the warehouse to appropriate locations. Split load tags, breaking down units according to customer requirements and specifications. Read and understand Back log reports, daily shipping logs and load tag notes, understanding customer specific requirements for loading
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly responsible for the unloading of trucks, the receiving of, the quality check of, and the putting away of materials as assigned Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped - understand load tags and notes. Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas by forklift or other common material handling tools. Understand the use of Tablet and RF Gun mounted on forklifts. Knowledge on the use of dock plates and dock locks and wheel chocks. Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, scanning tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated truck. Assembling customer orders from stock and places orders and shrink wraps on pallets or shelves, and/or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department. Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program. Printing delivery receipts for drivers, and assisting in securing loads with bars/straps Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and safely. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Must be familiar with common material handling equipment and be a certified forklift truck operator capable of maintaining forklift certification. Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements. Must adhere to all safety standards set by SupplyOne. Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required. Accurate data entry is required for recording receipts into system and entering product locations after movement of product. Experience with
UPS/FEDEX
online software is desirable. Able to perform all computer functions as they pertain to this job including but not limited to: Microsoft Windows, MS Office, MS Excel, and other proprietary computer programs. Able to learn and use Amtech Software. Ability to work in a timely and productive manner, using problem solving techniques, and meet customer needs. If the candidate is neither certified, degreed, or licensed, they might be required to successfully complete proficiency testing in some or all of the above categories.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

No responsibilities of this position may be completed remotely. While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be required to consistently meet deadlines in a work area that is not temperature controlled and will be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes,oils. All team members must wear the appropriate protective equipment to accommodate the protection needs of the present hazard. Employee must identify and report work hazards to supervisor or management. Safety Glasses and closed toe/closed heel shoes in the production and warehouse areas are required. All team members are required to work on, or in close proximity with, moving forklift trucks. EXPERIENCE
The Warehouse Associate is required, as a minimum, to have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. The Warehouse Associate must possess computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and internet as well as basic knowledge of office equipment including, copiers, scanners and fax machines. Must be proficient with forklifts, sit down, & upright reach trucks. The General Manager or the Human Resources Director can determine whether education and training are "equivalent" based on his/her experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English. Candidate will have the ability to read and comprehend moderate to complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Candidate will have the ability to write technical correspondence. Candidate will have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. Candidate will take responsibility for communicating with other shift employees. These communication skills will be done by updating spreadsheets, also, verbal and written communication to co-workers and other customers and/or companies.
