Job Description

Job Purpose:
Warehouse Operations is responsible for safely and efficiently operating various powered industrial trucks including a cherry picker to support all material handling functions within the distribution center. This role ensures accurate movement, storage, picking, and preparation of materials and finished goods across multiple departments, including Receiving, Putaway, Replenishment, Inventory Control, Assembly Support, Shipping, and Order Fulfillment. Operators in this role must be versatile, adaptable, and capable of supporting shifting priorities based on operational demands. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Material Handling & Equipment Operation Operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Pull products from stock, pick orders, and stage materials for processing or shipment. Perform accurate selection, scanning, and confirmation of materials using SAP S4/Hana (preferred), SAP B1, NWARE, or RF scanners. Support putaway, replenishment, and bin transfer tasks as needed across departments. Palletize, secure, shrink wrap, and stage shipments, including LTL, small parcel, and container loads. Load and unload inbound and outbound carriers following safety and weight‑distribution guidelines. Maneuver safely through narrow aisles and high‑bay racking environments. Accuracy, Quality & Documentation Verify that all orders and movements match documentation for accuracy in item number, quantity, and location. Confirm order accuracy and generate packing slips when required. Assist with cycle counts, stock checks, and resolving inventory discrepancies. Shipping & Parcel Processing Process shipments using UPS, FedEx, or other carrier software as needed. Prepare outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with packaging, labeling, and weight requirements. Safety & Equipment Care Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any malfunctions or safety concerns immediately. Comply with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and all PIT operating procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, racking, and staging zones. Cross‑Department Support Flex across Receiving, Shipping, Inventory, Putaway, Replenishment, and Order Fulfillment departments as workload requires. Support urgent material requests, assembly/production supply pulls, and special projects. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum two years of shipping/warehouse experience. Experience using RF scanners; SAP S4/Hanna experience preferred. Experience with UPS/FedEx shipping systems. Cherry picker lift license required. Experience with foam & stretch wrap machines is a plus. Ability to adapt to changing workloads and operational needs. US citizen or permanent resident (no Visa sponsorship available). Other duties as needed.
