Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of food-grade inventory throughout our facility. The ideal candidate has experience operating a propane sit-down forklift, values teamwork, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

PM Job Type:

Full-Time Key Responsibilities Safely load and unload trucks using a propane sit-down forklift. Move, stack, store, and organize products within designated warehouse locations. Rotate inventory using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices. Create and manage storage space for incoming inventory to maximize warehouse efficiency. Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment; report maintenance concerns promptly. Verify product quantities and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy. Handle products with care to minimize damage and product loss. Collaborate with shipping, receiving, and inventory teams to support efficient warehouse operations. Follow all company safety policies, food safety standards, sanitation requirements, and warehouse procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards. Report damaged products, pallets, equipment, or safety concerns immediately. Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of experience operating a propane sit-down forklift . Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 50 pounds . Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform physical warehouse activities throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to accurately follow instructions and work independently. Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and ability to safely stack and store product while maximizing warehouse space utilization. Preferred Previous experience in a food-grade warehouse environment.
