We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Forklift Operator & CDL Shuttle Driver to join our team. This dual-role position offers a dynamic mix of warehouse operations and CDL shuttle driving. Position Overview This role is split between warehouse operations (60%) and shuttle driving (40%) . The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating multiple types of forklifts, working with warehouse management systems, and safely transporting goods with Class A CDL qualifications. Strong customer service skills are essential, as this is a customer-facing role with direct interaction on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations (60%) Operate various forklift types (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, clamp, etc.) safely and efficiently. Load, unload, stage, and organize freight in accordance with company procedures. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing. Perform routine equipment inspections and ensure all materials are handled safely. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with OSHA standards. Shuttle Driving (40%) Operate Class A CDL equipment to transport goods between locations, primarily 28' and 53' trailers. Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety. Safely maneuver trucks in tight dock spaces and adhere to all DOT regulations. Communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Customer Service Act as a representative of Jones Logistics when interfacing with customers and clients. Maintain professionalism and a customer-first attitude in all interactions. Provide updates and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. Minimum 3 years of experience operating multiple forklift types in a warehouse setting. Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience with 28' and 53' trailers. Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Office. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. Minimum 3 years of experience operating multiple forklift types in a warehouse setting. Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience with 28' and 53' trailers. Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Office. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
