Hudson Manufacturing Company is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Production Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations. This position plays a vital role in keeping production running efficiently by ensuring raw materials, regrind, and additives are consistently supplied to our blow molding machines while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. What You'll Do Supply raw materials and regrind to production equipment. Operate forklifts safely throughout the manufacturing facility. Load silos, hoppers, and material handling systems. Transport scrap and purge materials to designated locations. Monitor UV additive systems and material levels. Complete forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns. Record scrap weights and maintain accurate documentation. Communicate material inventory needs with Purchasing and Production Leadership. Maintain housekeeping standards and keep materials properly organized. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to safety and detail. Preferred Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing environment. POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Material Handler is responsible for maintaining the uninterrupted flow of raw materials, regrind, additives, and support materials required to keep production operating efficiently. This position supports blow molding operations by managing material handling systems, operating forklifts safely, monitoring inventory, transporting scrap, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a continuous supply of virgin resin to all blow molding machines. Maintain regrind material supply to production equipment. Load raw materials into silos, hoppers, and conveying systems. Monitor and replenish UV stabilizer additive systems. Verify proper silo selection during incoming deliveries. Transport purge material and scrap to designated locations. Accurately weigh and document scrap. Operate forklifts safely and complete daily inspections. Report forklift maintenance needs promptly. Maintain dust collector bags and material handling equipment. Ensure raw materials are stored in clean labeled containers. Communicate inventory concerns with Purchasing. Assist with production startups and material changeovers. Follow OSHA, LOTO, GMP, housekeeping, and safety requirements. Report safety hazards immediately. Assist with training on material handling and forklift safety. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required :
High School Diploma or GED; ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification; basic computer skills.
Preferred:
One to five years of forklift experience in manufacturing and plastics/material handling experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and work safely around moving machinery.

Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, industrial equipment, noise, dust, varying temperatures, and required
PPE. SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as production needs require. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
