MATERIAL HANDLER FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Jowat Corporation has an opening for a Material Handler Forklift Operator on our night shift, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am on a 2-2-3 schedule. The Material Handler is responsible for pulling all materials for orders to and from the production floor. This role will need to maintain a high level of housekeeping in the warehouse and attention to detail.

Your Responsibilities:

• Complete all transfer orders by scanning to machines in a timely manner.
• Return raw materials, packaging, remix, etc. to a storage location when they are no longer needed by scanning.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the warehouse, including taking out trash, old pallets, etc.
• Work with operators when in the process of changing over to a different product.
• Assist production employees when possible to ensure production does not stop.
• Perform other jobs as required by supervisor.
• Make an effort to complete all work orders by the end of your shift.
• Forklift inspection before every shift.
• Write down any material that will not scan on material transfer sheet to be placed away.
• Plug in the forklift at the end of your shift.
• Report any damage to finished goods.
• Report any unsafe working conditions.

Our Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• SAP Knowledge preferred but not required
• Accurate and legible handwriting

Pay:

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
