This position will be Monday-Friday 1130am-8pm with a competitive salary of $18-22/hour depending on experience. The Material Handler/Forklift Operator is the primary individual responsible for keeping the production cycle for parts moving within the company. This individual is responsible for moving materials using an electric tow motor at the facility to machinery and warehouse locations as needed. Material Handler/Forklift Operator - DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Loads and unloads trucks. Loads and stages materials at machines. Organizes inventory racks locations to ensure accurate inventory. Receiving and unloading of deliveries as needed. Works interdepartmentally with other company divisions as needed. Operates the wash line when not on tow motor. Packaging of parts when required. Maintains a clean and organized workstation and cares for the tow motor Inspects equipment and reports any necessary maintenance needs to supervisor. Utilizes tow motor to move and store products. Follows all established work instructions and standard operating procedures. Follows all internal, OSHA, and outside agency safety regulations. Performs all other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
2 years' experience and knowledge working with tow motors Able to make good decisions on which materials to use, how to solve the problem and if outside help is needed. Able to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multi-tasks. Able to use tablets and barcode readers along with ERP System tools.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Vocational school training on electrical principles and troubleshooting. At least 2 years' experience in light industry or the machine tool industry. Come join our team by applying today for our Material Handler/Forklift Operator role!
