Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment within our distribution center. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient movement of materials and products throughout the warehouse, contributing to our overall operational success. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using RF scanners to track inventory. Build and organize pallets for storage or shipment according to company standards. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements within the warehouse management system. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and distribution processes. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including cranes and order pickers. Proficient in using warehouse management systems and RF scanners for inventory tracking. Strong attention to detail with the ability to build pallets accurately for shipping. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
