This position is responsible for receiving, stocking, pulling, loading, and delivering HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, organized, and enjoys working in both the warehouse and on delivery routes. Primary Responsibilities Pull and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently. Load and unload delivery trucks safely. Deliver HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies to contractors and job sites. Verify deliveries and obtain customer signatures when required. Receive incoming shipments and inspect for damage or shortages. Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations. Assist customers with loading purchases. Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely. Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control. Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations. Assist inside sales and warehouse personnel as needed. Maintain delivery vehicles by performing basic inspections and reporting maintenance issues. Represent the company professionally during customer interactions. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or construction supply experience is a plus. Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Basic computer and inventory system skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable with excellent attendance. Physical Requirements Frequently lift up to 50 pounds independently. Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance or equipment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and kneel throughout the workday. Ability to work in varying weather conditions during deliveries. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and delivery vehicles. Knowledge & Skills Strong attention to detail. Ability to accurately identify HVAC equipment and parts. Willingness to learn HVAC products and inventory. Work Environment Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures. Frequent local deliveries to contractor shops and job sites. Fast-paced environment requiring accuracy and efficiency. Monday through Friday schedule with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
