Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Delivers pallets, totes, and supersacks of ingredients from warehouse or freezers to Dry Ingredient, IQF rooms, and downstairs tomato dumping area Assists IQF Vegetable Operator in dumping ingredients Delivers caps to Filler rooms Operates forklift in safe manner. Reports maintenance issues as they occur and submits work orders when necessary. Follows all DFA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate, regulatory quality, and sanitation requirements. Utilize scanners or thin client units to make SAP transaction for the purpose of maintain accurate inventory levels and ensuring reliable product traceability. Perform items on the Master Sanitation lists when production is not running. Handles cleaning chemicals in a safe manner utilizing safety equipment such as gloves, eyewear, etc. Clear cardboard, trash, and excess pallets from Powder Handling and Individually Quick Frozen rooms. Maintain sanitary equipment conditions during production. Maintain safe environment and perform other duties in a safe manner at all times. Assists in training new operator. Ability to function in a team based structure and positively contributes to team based efforts. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

$18.50 / HOUR +.50/SHIFT

DIFF WITH 2PM OR LATER SHIFT START TIME GED

Certificate or High School Diploma Required Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen. Must be able to attain a Forklift Operator License within 30 days of hiring.
