Duties:

• Operate forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials within a warehouse or distribution center
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift or other heavy equipment
• Safely transport materials to designated areas using proper equipment and techniques
• Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment as needed
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and materials movement

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment, specifically forklifts, in a warehouse or distribution center setting
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
• Basic math skills for inventory tracking and calculations
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
• Ability to operate different types of forklifts, such as clamp trucks and pallet jacks
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
