Forklift Driver Responsibilities Safe Operation:

Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety guidelines, regulations, and company policies. Conduct pre-shift inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition.

Material Handling:

Load, unload stack, and arrange materials or products using a forklift. Move materials between storage areas, production lines, trucks or other designated locations. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to the required destinations.

Inventory Management:

Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by properly documenting materials received, moved, or shipped. Conduct periodic inventory counts and report any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.

Warehouse Organization:

Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Arrange materials or products in a logical and efficient manner to facilitate easy access retrieval.

Safety Awareness:

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. Report any potential hazards or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including materials handled, equipment inspections, and any incidents or accidents that occur during operations. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience as a forklift driver or operator. Strong knowledge of forklift operations, safety procedures, and maintenance. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Good communication and teamwork skills.
