The Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation of CAC's fundraising and donor engagement efforts to support the organization's mission and strategic growth. Working closely with and under the direction of the Executive Director, the ideal candidate will help CAC grow annual individual giving; increase corporate sponsorship revenue; implement and enhance stewardship for donors at all giving levels; support grant submissions and reporting; and help execute signature fundraising events. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about building meaningful relationships that inspire philanthropic investment in the arts.
Essential Responsibilities:
Annual Giving & Donor Relations (35%)
Coordinate annual fundraising campaigns, including direct mail, online giving, year-end appeals, and membership activities.
Manage donor and membership stewardship activities, including acknowledgment letters, recognition, and impact reporting.
Maintain accurate donor records and gift processing within the donor database.
Assist the Executive Director with donor cultivation and major gift activities.
Prepare donor profiles, meeting materials, and follow-up communications.
Coordinate donor appreciation events and cultivation opportunities.
Track fundraising progress and prepare reports for leadership and the Board of Directors. Corporate Sponsorships & Business Partnerships (20%)
Research prospective corporate sponsors and community partners.
Assist with solicitation, proposal preparation, sponsorship fulfillment, and recognition.
Maintain sponsor benefit tracking to ensure all commitments are fulfilled. Fundraising Events (25%)
Coordinate and support sponsorship solicitation, ticket sales, and other revenue generation activities.
Coordinate volunteers for CAC events.
Manage event registration, sponsor fulfillment, and auction/raffle opportunities.
Coordinate event logistics.
Create and manage budget tracking and post-event reporting and stewardship. Grant Support (15%)
Research grant opportunities.
Assist in preparing grant proposals and supporting documentation.
Track grant deadlines and reporting requirements.
Coordinate collection of program data and outcomes.
Maintain grant calendar and files. Development Operations (5%)
Prepare fundraising reports and dashboards.
Maintain development calendars and timelines.
Assist with marketing content related to fundraising campaigns.
Pay:
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour
