Full Job Description Description:
Livingston Memorial is looking for a Full Time, 32 hours a week, Annual Funds Specialist to support our Development Team. About The Role :
This position has the responsibility of meeting LMVNA's annual fundraising goal by providing administrative and oversight to LMVNA's stewardship and direct appeals to constituents. This person will work closely with the Director of Development, Development Committee of the BOD, Community Development Advisors, and other volunteers.
What You'll Do :
Administers LMVNA's annual appeals campaign to meet LMVNA's current financial needs and builds a sustainable and renewable foundation to meet LMVNA's futures needs as well. Manages LMVNA's donor database. Ensures timely and accurate gift processing and acknowledgements. Responsible for the processing and distribution of direct mail appeals, including letters to current and lapsed donors and email correspondence with donors throughout the year. This includes Constant Contact messaging for the Development office Responsible for goal-tracking, donor stewardship, and reporting. Responsible for the monthly tracking and preparation of reporting to the Development Committee monthly. Main point of contact for incoming telephone calls for the development office. Administrator for employee giving "Team Livingston" which includes solicitation of employees, swag tracking/orders and annual photo. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
What We're Looking For :
High school graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred. Knowledge of computer, proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Donor Management database or CRM experience required Minimum of two years' experience in fundraising. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational skills with attention to details. Able to work independently, take ownership and responsibility of tasks. Strong professional ethics, discretion and judgment.
