$58,656-$$70,720 salaried annually depending on experience, education, and licensure

Monday-Friday Shift:
Day Shift (can be flexible; generally, 8am-4:30pm or 9a-5:30pm) About Us High Point & Affiliated Organizations (HPAO) is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts, offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve personal change and improve their quality of life. Recovery Specialist Supervisor Requirements Knowledge of detoxification, the substance uses disorder concept, and self-help programs used to treat addiction, and or other behavioral health issues; Ability to maintain therapeutic boundaries and professional ethics; Ability to set limits and enforce rules in a respectful manner; Ability to assess and resolve scheduling, training and personnel issues; Ability to communicate verbally and in writing; Basic computer skills; CPR certification (provided in onboarding w/ HPAO); Certification in the High Point & Affiliated Organizations (HPAO) approved de-escalation program; Annual TB screening. Recovery Specialist Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities Compliance with federal regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA regulations; Attends required meetings, mandatory trainings, and maintains competencies; Ability to perform and fill in for Recovery Specialist duties as necessary; Provides direct supervision to all Recovery Specialists as required and conducts monthly Staff Meetings as required; Weekly and as needed review of cameras and completion of required documentation. Meet with Site Director/Program Director regularly to review all program process issues and all issues pertinent to quality care and organizational health and viability; Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and disciplinary action/termination of RS staff as required; Resolves scheduling, training, staff competencies, and any staff concerns; Reviewing and approving timesheets and time off requests of Recovery Specialists; Routinely review client charts to ensure that the structure and substance are in accordance with licensing and accreditation standards; All other duties as assigned by the Site Director. Recovery Specialist Supervisor Qualifications A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED, preferred. Minimum of three years of supervised experience in substance use treatment, or a closely related field. 2 years of supervisory experience, preferred.
