Job Description

Development Officer | Hybrid | Fundraising & Community Engagement TriSource is seeking a Fundraising and Engagement Officer to expand philanthropic support by cultivating relationships with individual, corporate, faith-based, and community donors for a client in Roanoke. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working remotely while maintaining a strong presence in the community through donor meetings, events, and volunteer engagement. What You'll Do Manage and grow a portfolio of individual, corporate, faith-based, and community donors. Cultivate, solicit, and steward donors through meetings, outreach, and personalized communications. Meet annual fundraising goals through donor development and relationship management. Identify and cultivate regional grant opportunities in partnership with the Director of Fund Development and Fundraising Manager. Plan and execute fundraising initiatives within your assigned territory. Secure sponsorships and ticket sales for fundraising events. Organize quarterly volunteer engagement opportunities and in-kind donation drives. Build partnerships with schools, businesses, churches, and community organizations. Gather impact stories with program staff to support donor communications and marketing efforts. Represent the client at community events, advisory committee meetings, and networking opportunities. Maintain accurate donor records using CRM software. Travel throughout the assigned territory approximately 20-30% of the time. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. At least 2 years of experience in fundraising, development, nonprofit advancement, donor relations, community engagement, sales, or a related field. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM/donor database systems. Clean background check Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
