Assistant Manager Midas Auto Service & Tires Position Summary The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in the daily operation of the automotive service center. This role helps ensure excellent customer service, efficient shop operations, and achievement of sales and performance goals. The Assistant Manager serves customers, assists with team leadership, and helps maintain a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service and build strong customer relationships. Assist customers with vehicle service recommendations and estimates. Support the Store Manager with daily operations and staff supervision. Help achieve sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals. Schedule appointments and manage workflow to maximize shop efficiency. Ensure all work orders are completed accurately and professionally. Assist with inventory control and ordering of parts and supplies. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility. Handle customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional manner. Support hiring, training, and development of team members. Qualifications Automotive service experience preferred. Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred. Strong sales and customer service skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair services. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to vehicle fumes, noise, and varying temperatures. $52,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
