This is an important leadership position for a growing operation, and we are looking for someone who can take ownership of the department, lead a team, maintain quality standards, and keep production moving in a fast-paced dealership environment. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of automotive detailing and leadership experience, strong communication skills, and hands-on knowledge of professional detailing techniques. Dealership experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Manage and lead a team of automotive detailers Coordinate daily workflow and vehicle production Maintain high standards for quality, efficiency, and presentation Perform and train employees on buffing and paint correction Headlight restoration Wet sanding and advanced detailing techniques Inspect completed vehicles before delivery Communicate professionally with dealership management and staff Manage supplies, equipment, productivity, and department organization Train, coach, and hold team members accountable Ensure vehicles are completed accurately and on schedule
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of automotive detailing experience Previous supervisory, management, or team-lead experience Strong buffing/polishing experience Headlight restoration experience Wet sanding experience preferred Dealership detailing experience is a major plus Excellent communication and leadership skills Professional, dependable, and confident Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume operation Valid driver's license We are looking for a top-level candidate not simply someone who can detail cars. You should be comfortable managing people, communicating with dealership leadership, solving problems, and taking full responsibility for the performance of the detail department. Immediate training opportunities are available prior to the new location opening October 5th.
