As our long-time General Manager transitions into a semi-retired role, we are seeking a strong leader to help guide our next phase of growth. Position Summary We are looking for an experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing and distribution business. This individual will lead our team, improve operational efficiency, drive accountability, and help execute the company's long-term strategic vision. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a background in manufacturing, machining, motorsports, industrial distribution, or a related industry who enjoys building teams, improving processes, and delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day business operations, including manufacturing, shipping, inventory, purchasing, and customer service. Lead, mentor, and develop employees while fostering a positive, accountable culture. Manage production schedules and ensure on-time delivery of customer orders. Improve operational efficiency through process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with ownership to develop and execute business strategies and growth initiatives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when needed. Develop staffing plans, recruit new employees, and support employee training and performance management. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements. Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performance. Qualifications 5+ years of leadership or management experience in manufacturing, machining, industrial distribution, or a related field. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Experience managing production teams and cross-functional departments. Proven ability to improve operational performance and drive organizational growth. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Experience with ERP systems, inventory management, and production planning is preferred. Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the motorsports, automotive, or precision manufacturing industry. Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred but not required based on experience.
