Assistant Manager - Big Sammy's Car Wash Big Sammy's Car Wash is hiring an Assistant Manager to join our management team! We're looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, hands-on, and ready to lead . This isn't a position where you stand around and watch the team work. Our Assistant Managers lead from the front, help create a great environment for our employees, and make sure every customer leaves with a great experience. Car wash experience is a plus, but leadership, work ethic, mechanical ability, and a willingness to learn are more important. What You'll Do As an Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager and Area Manager to help run the day-to-day operation of the wash.

Responsibilities include:

Lead, coach, and motivate employees throughout the shift Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally Help the team meet membership sales and customer service goals Make sure employees are following company policies and procedures Keep the property, tunnel, equipment, and customer areas clean and presentable Perform opening and closing procedures Help manage employee breaks, positions, and daily workflow Complete routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance Assist with basic mechanical repairs and troubleshooting Identify problems before they become major equipment issues Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers Communicate equipment, staffing, and operational issues to management Step in wherever needed to keep the wash operating smoothly Who We're Looking For We want someone who: Shows up on time and can be counted on Has a strong work ethic Is comfortable leading and holding employees accountable Has a positive attitude and works well with a team Is comfortable talking with customers Can work in a fast-paced environment Is willing to get their hands dirty Has basic mechanical or maintenance ability, or is willing to learn Takes pride in keeping a facility clean and operating correctly Can work outdoors and in varying weather conditions Is available to work weekends and some holidays as needed Previous management or supervisory experience is preferred. Experience in car washes, automotive service, maintenance, construction, mechanical work, retail management, or another hands-on environment is a plus.
