A well-established, multi-location musculoskeletal healthcare organization in Monmouth County, New Jersey is seeking a VP of Revenue Cycle Management to own the financial performance and strategic direction of its pain and vein service lines.
What You'll Do:
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing RCM team spanning surgical, procedural, ancillary, and professional billing Own the full revenue cycle: charge capture, coding review, claims, denials, AR, patient collections, and revenue integrity Drive strategy around reimbursement optimization for surgical cases, injections, regenerative medicine, and diagnostic services Set and track KPIs - net collection rate, AR aging, clean claim rate, denial rate, and more Partner cross-functionally with physicians, clinical operations, coding, credentialing, and finance teams Lead denial prevention, appeals, and payer dispute resolution strategies Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial, workers' comp, and personal injury billing requirements Champion process improvement and automation to scale operations
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree required (Healthcare Admin, Business, Finance, or related field); Master's preferred 10+ years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle, accounts receivable, and/or billing/collections leadership experience 5+ years managing orthopedic, pain management, or surgical revenue cycle operations Proven success leading multi-function RCM teams and driving measurable financial improvement Strong executive presence, communication, and change-management skills
