About The BFLO Store The BFLO Store is Western New York's destination for Buffalo-themed gifts, apparel, and officially licensed sports merchandise. Locally owned and operated, we offer one of the area's largest selections of products celebrating Buffalo and WNY, including apparel, jewelry, home and garden items, gifts, and more. We also partner with leading brands such as Vineyard Vines, Nautica, Champion, and Nike to create exclusive, co-branded merchandise. With locations at Transitown Plaza, McKinley Mall, Walden Galleria, and BLVD Consumer Square, The BFLO Store serves customers across Western New York's major retail corridors. About the Role As the Assistant Store Manager , you will work closely with the Store Manager to support daily operations, develop employees, and deliver an outstanding experience to every customer.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive customer service. Supporting the Store Manager with daily operations and team leadership. Communicating and implementing company policies and procedures. Training, coaching, and motivating employees. Merchandising products and maintaining attractive store displays. Managing inventory and supporting loss-prevention efforts. Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor and backroom. Helping create a safe, positive, and productive workplace. Opening and closing the store as assigned. What We're Looking For Qualified candidates should have: At least two years of retail management experience, including customer-service and employee-management responsibilities. A strong understanding of retail trends, seasonal merchandising, and Buffalo culture. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and technology skills. A willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a team-oriented environment. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. The ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods during a shift.
