Type:

full-time Directs, manages, and optimizes all facility operations to ensure high-quality products are manufactured on time, safely, and cost-effectively. Responsible for leading facility personnel, maintaining budget discipline, driving operational efficiency, and fostering a safe, continuous-improvement environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operational Leadership:

Oversees daily plant operations and coordinates cross-departmental activities (Production, Quality, Maintenance) to maximize throughput, efficiency, and delivery performance.

Safety & Compliance:

Enforces a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program. Ensures continuous OSHA compliance, routine safety audits, employee training, and zero-harm workplace standards.

Quality & Inventory Control:

Ensures finished goods conform strictly to specifications. Monitors inventory levels to support production requirements without overstocking material.

Financial Management:

Manages plant operating budgets, controls manufacturing costs, tracks monthly KPIs, and delivers regular performance reports to executive leadership.

Continuous Improvement:

Proposes and executes capital projects, lean initiatives, and process changes to improve plant profitability and quality.

Qualifications Critical Thinking:

Ability to analyze operational data, troubleshoot complex production issues, establish facts, and implement corrective actions.

Communication:

Strong written and verbal skills to present operational updates to executive leadership, manage staff, and interact professionally with vendors or regulatory bodies.

Financial & Data Literacy:

Ability to interpret financial reports, performance metrics, and technical documents.

Education & Experience Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of progressive management experience in a manufacturing or assembly plant environment.

Industry Experience:

General manufacturing background required; heavy equipment or transportation equipment manufacturing preferred. Physical Demands & Work Environment Split between a standard office setting and an active manufacturing floor. Requires standing, walking, and navigating production lines, equipment spaces, and warehouse areas for extended periods
