Duties Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, inventory control, and staff management Lead and motivate retail sales teams to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service Manage employee orientation, onboarding, training & development to ensure team members are well-equipped and engaged Conduct interviewing and recruiting efforts to build a strong, competent workforce Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management with accuracy and integrity Oversee inventory management, merchandising, stocking, pricing, and purchasing to optimize product availability and presentation Supervise shift schedules, manage operational workflows, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail or grocery industry Strong leadership skills with previous supervisory experience in a retail environment Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory control software Demonstrated ability in negotiation, customer service excellence, and team management Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as pricing, discounts, and inventory counts Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently with strong organizational and time management skills Knowledge of retail sales strategies, merchandising techniques, and operational management practices Join us to empower your career through leadership in a fast-paced retail setting!
