Grant Accounting Coordinator Location:
Redmond, WA Work schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Hybrid. Tues/Thurs are in-person onsite days at the Redmond center. Mon/Wed/Fri remote option after successfully completing training. Typical Hopelink operating hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4pm or Mon - Fri 9am-5pm; this position has some start time schedule flexibility. The Grants Accounting Coordinator supports the financial administration and compliance of grant-funded programs by maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring grant expenditures, preparing reports, and ensuring adherence to grant requirements. This position provides administrative and accounting support to the Grants Manager (GM) in the administration of grant-funded programs. The Grants Accounting Coordinator assists with budget tracking, revenue recording, financial reporting and compliance documentation. The position works under the direction of the Grants Manager to help ensure accurate and timely grant accounting and reporting activities. The Grants Accounting Coordinator performs grant accounting and administrative functions under the general supervision of the Grants Manager and does not have final authority for grant compliance determinations, financial reporting approvals, or grant management decisions. Excellent detail and organizational skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including the use of filters, IF statements, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables , and other advanced functions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task and has initiative to take assigned tasks to the next level. Intermediate skills in Outlook and Word. MIP Fund Accounting or other non-profit software experience preferred. Experience with public grant invoicing is helpful but not required. Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting practices, and account reconciliations. Examples of what you will be doing: Assist in the administration and financial monitoring of multiple grant-funded programs. Collaborate with the Grants Manager and program staff to maintain and monitor grant budgets. Track grant expenditures and provide information to the Grants Manager to support compliance with approved budgets, grant agreements, and funding restrictions. Supports the Grants Manager with review grant-related transactions for accuracy and proper coding. Assist the Grants Manager with monitoring grant spending and identifying budget variances for management review. Supports the Grants Manager with budget modifications, grant amendments, reimbursement requests, and drawdowns. Record and track grant revenues in MIP Fund Accounting and other financial systems. Reconcile grant-related accounts and maintain financial records. Maintain grant tracking files (Grant Update Sheets, Grants Tracking Tool, Grant Snapshot, Reconciliation Spending/Billing Table, Rollover Expense Table, etc.) and supporting documentation (Detailed GL, PIVOTs, invoices, reports and forms provided by grantors, close-out reports, etc.) in accordance with organizational policies and funding requirements. Support the Grants Manager in maintaining compliance with grant agreements, donor requirements, and applicable regulations.

$24.00-$26.00 hr.
