Inventory & Purchasing Associate:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory & Purchasing Associate to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an interest in inventory, purchasing, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with Excel, have strong communication skills, and be eager to learn. Previous experience with inventory, purchasing, or materials management is helpful but not required. A college degree is not required for this position.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily inventory management across multiple facilities. Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory checks. Create and maintain inventory count sheets and related documentation. Assist with tracking and managing raw materials. Manage and maintain Purchase Orders (POs). Review incoming POs and assist with processing orders from approximately 10 major customers on a daily basis. Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding orders, materials, and delivery information after receiving appropriate training. Learn and assist with sourcing activities and supplier relationships. Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records using Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks . Work closely with internal teams to help ensure materials and inventory are available to support production. Assist with inventory and purchasing activities across the company's five facilities. Support the company's continued growth and expansion, including increased production activity in Mexico. Perform other inventory, purchasing, and administrative duties as needed. Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel . Strong communication and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team. Willingness to learn inventory management, purchasing, and sourcing processes. Previous experience in inventory, purchasing, warehouse operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related field is a plus, but not required. No college degree required.
