Shipping & Receiving Specialist River Valley Power & Sport - Red Wing, MN Join Minnesota's Largest Powersports & Marine Group River Valley Power & Sport continues to grow, and we're looking for an experienced Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team in Red Wing, MN. This position supports two Red Wing locations, our North Store and Marine Center, playing a critical role in keeping inventory moving efficiently and accurately between our dealerships, vendors, customers, and service departments. Position Overview The Shipping & Receiving Specialist is responsible for the efficient movement of inventory throughout our dealerships. This position ensures incoming shipments are received accurately, outgoing shipments are prepared correctly, inventory is organized, and products are delivered to the right department or customer in a timely manner. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage Accurately process incoming inventory into dealership systems Prepare and package outgoing shipments to vendors and customers Coordinate transfers between our North Store and Marine Center locations Maintain organized warehouse and storage areas Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy Deliver parts and products to service, sales, and other dealership departments Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (training provided if needed) Maintain clean, safe, and organized shipping and receiving areas Work closely with Parts, Service, Sales, and Accounting to ensure smooth daily operations Assist with loading and unloading boats, powersports units, and freight as needed Follow company safety procedures and shipping best practices What We're Looking For Previous shipping & receiving, warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience preferred Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a physically active environment Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Passion for boating, powersports, motorsports, or the outdoor lifestyle High School diploma or equivalent required Candidates with experience in any of the following industries are strongly encouraged to apply: Marine, Powersports, Automotive, RV, Agriculture, Heavy Equipment, Lawn & Garden, Small Engine Repair, Distribution, Warehouse Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics Schedule Full-time 5-day work week

Monday-Friday:

9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Work schedule may vary throughout the year based on seasonal business needs. Occasional Saturday shifts may be required as needed for peak seasons, special events, staffing coverage, or operational demands. Compensation $21.00-$25.00 per hour Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability.
