Position Summary:
The Inventory Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through daily cycle counts, inventory audits, and material verification. This position plays a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting production operations, and identifying discrepancies before they impact customer orders or manufacturing schedules.
Schedule:
2nd shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:00pm
Responsibilities:
Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials, finished goods, and warehouse inventory. Verify physical inventory against system records and investigate discrepancies. Research inventory variances and work with Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse teams to resolve issues. Maintain accurate inventory transactions within the ERP/WMS system. Assist with receiving, stocking, labeling, and organizing inventory. Ensure materials are stored in the proper locations and accurately identified. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or overages. Support month-end and year-end physical inventory counts. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely (certification preferred or training provided). Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Assist with inventory improvement projects and process enhancements. Perform other warehouse and inventory-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred. Experience performing cycle counts and inventory audits is preferred. Basic computer skills with experience using ERP or warehouse management systems. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Forklift experience is a plus.
