Job Title:

Linen Specialist Delivered by local teams with the tools to maximize performance.

Gulf Shores, AL.

Location Requirement:

Candidates must reside in Baldwin County, AL, or Escambia County, FL to be considered. Preference will be given to candidates located in or near Gulf Shores, AL, the primary operations area for this position.

Schedule:

Daytime hours; weekend expectations are flexible to business needs, with two consecutive days off.

Role:

The Linen Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of linen quality and availability within the real estate rental and leasing industry. This position is responsible for managing the procurement, maintenance, and inventory of linens used across multiple rental properties, contributing directly to tenant satisfaction and property presentation. The Linen Specialist collaborates closely with property management and housekeeping teams to coordinate linen supply schedules and address any issues related to linen quality or shortages. By maintaining meticulous records and overseeing vendor relationships, the specialist ensures cost-effective operations and compliance with health and safety standards. Ultimately, this role supports the overall guest experience and operational efficiency by guaranteeing that all linens meet the company's quality and cleanliness expectations consistently.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years of experience in linen management, inventory control, or a related field. Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic procurement processes. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to lift and handle linens and supplies as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working within the real estate rental, hospitality, or property management industries. Knowledge of commercial laundry operations and vendor management. Proficiency with inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite. Certification in inventory or supply chain management is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Manage the procurement and inventory control of linens for multiple rental properties, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times. Coordinate with housekeeping and property management teams to schedule linen deliveries and pickups, optimizing turnaround times. Inspect linens regularly for quality, cleanliness, and damage, and arrange for repair or replacement as necessary. Maintain detailed records of linen usage, costs, and vendor performance to support budgeting and operational decisions. Develop and maintain relationships with linen suppliers and laundry service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure service quality. Implement and monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards related to linen handling and storage. Train and support staff on proper linen handling procedures to minimize damage and maintain hygiene standards.

The Linen Specialist utilizes organizational and inventory management skills daily to maintain accurate linen stock levels and ensure timely replenishment. Communication skills are essential for coordinating with housekeeping, property management, and vendors to streamline linen operations and resolve issues efficiently. Attention to detail is critical when inspecting linens for quality and cleanliness, ensuring that all items meet company standards before use. Negotiation and vendor management skills help in securing favorable contracts and maintaining productive supplier relationships.
