Cross-functional communication FDA regulations Full Job Description Yoh Life Sciences is hiring for a Sr. Material Coordinator to support a medical device customer in San Diego, CA. The Senior Material Coordinator should have strong ERP, inventory management, and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel. This role is performing hands-on warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, kitting, and material movements, and working cross-functionally with Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.

$26-$28/hr

Mon - Friday day shift
Key Responsibilities Inventory Management:
Perform routine inventory counts, monitor stock levels, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records in ERP and inventory systems. Perform hands-on warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, kitting, and material movements. Work cross-functionally with Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
Receiving & Inspection:
Unload and receive incoming materials, operate warehouse equipment safely, validate stock locations, inspect for defects, and document results in ERP and QMS systems.
Kitting & Material Prep:
Pick, stage, and validate components for production Requirements Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations; medical device manufacturing preferred. Strong ERP, inventory management, and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Experience performing inventory transactions, material control, cycle count support, and stockroom management. Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy, traceability, and transaction integrity. Highly organized and able to effectively manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to investigate discrepancies, resolve issues, and maintain accurate records. Adaptable, resourceful, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and SOPs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ISO 13485 and FDA regulatory requirements. Experience with inbound inspection and document control activities. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Working Conditions Ability to stand, walk, and move within the production area for long periods. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures. May be required to lift items weighing up to 30 lbs.
