Overview:

J.D Rush Company is seeking an experienced Inventory Data Specialist II to join our team. The Inventory Data Specialist II will be responsible for ensuring the proper and timely entry of all inventory-related transactions, as well as maintaining accurate inventory values across all J.D. Rush Co, Inc. locations. This role supports cross-department workflows and contributes to the company's goal of accurate and efficient processing.

Duties:

Process all daily inventory transactions, including stock and rack transfers, sales order allocations, purchase orders, inbound receipts, internal threading, and bi-weekly fabrication Maintain inventory data in ERP system, including cost adjustments, lot comments, and warehouse/bin locations Approve and code invoices to ensure accurate cost adjustments and adherence to discount deadlines Maintain and reconcile consignment inventory and provide weekly usage reports Generate and distribute weekly inventory reports to appropriate personnel Participate in physical inventories, cycle counts, and discrepancy research Maintain open purchase order reports and coordinate with Purchasing and other departments Adjust inventory values for freight, handling, and additional costs Work with freight providers to ensure timely receipt of inbound documentation Document special-order inventory requirements Provide reception relief and filing support as needed

Requirements:

Proven work experience as an Inventory Data Specialist or similar role 2-5 years of experience working with inventory allocations and maintenance in a high-volume business Strong analytical and mathematical skills Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills High school diploma or equivalent (Required) Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent training (Preferred) Computer literate If you have a passion for accuracy and enjoy supporting a fast-paced, team-focused environment, we invite you to apply for the Inventory Data Specialist II position with us.
