Overview We are seeking a highly organized Inventory Control Specialist that will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing accurate stock, and ensuring seamless coordination across warehouse operations and procurement functions. The ideal candidate will have 4-5yrs. of recent experience working in this role, operate order picker and lift trucks, open to learning the process of the company, versatile to work in the shipping office and on the production floor and most of all, hit the road running!

Duties Operate Lifts:

Order Pickers and Stand-Up Lift Trucks Operator Oversee inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts. Utilize ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and other computer programs that the client uses to track inventory & audit information Conduct root cause analysis for inventory variances and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to optimize purchasing strategies, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage supplier relationships. Plan and forecast inventory needs, and support production planning to meet customer requirements efficiently. Develop and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and visualizations to inform decision-making processes. Coordinate with shipping & receiving teams to facilitate accurate order fulfillment, materials handling, and logistics operations. Lead process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing inventory accuracy, reducing waste, and streamlining warehouse operations. Manage stock replenishment cycles using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems while ensuring compliance with company policies. Skills Extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles including warehouse distribution, demand planning, and logistics. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, AS400, or equivalent platforms; experience with SQL for data extraction is a plus. Strong data mining, visualization (Power BI, Tableau), and data analytics skills for actionable insights. Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis and process improvement methodologies. Experience with procurement negotiations, supplier management, and contract administration. Skilled in materials handling equipment operation such as forklifts; familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures. Knowledge of merchandising practices, retail management concepts, e-commerce logistics, and 3PL (third-party logistics) providers. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary while maintaining safety standards. Strong organizational skills combined with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. $18 / Hr. Temp to Hire (paid weekly)

Hours:
