Inventory Lead Overview Webster Lake Cannabis is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Lead to oversee daily inventory operations and help maintain accurate, compliant inventory records. This role is responsible for receiving product, inventory audits, reconciliations, METRC compliance, and ensuring inventory accuracy throughout the dispensary. The ideal candidate has experience working in the cannabis industry, is highly organized, and understands the importance of compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Oversee daily inventory operations to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance Receive and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and manifests Perform inventory intake using Flowhub POS and METRC Conduct routine inventory audits, cycle counts, and full inventory reconciliations Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation Ensure all cannabis products are properly labeled, stored, and tracked according to Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission regulations Coordinate product transfers, returns, adjustments, and destruction procedures when necessary Work closely with management to maintain proper inventory levels and prevent stock shortages Monitor product expiration dates and assist with inventory rotation Organize vault and inventory storage areas to maximize efficiency and compliance Prepare inventory reports and assist with state reporting requirements Collaborate with the sales floor team to ensure products are stocked and available for customers Assist with opening, closing, and operational duties as needed Recommend process improvements to increase inventory accuracy and efficiency Qualifications Minimum 2 years of inventory management experience preferred Cannabis industry experience strongly preferred Experience with Flowhub POS strongly preferred Experience using METRC for inventory management and compliance Strong understanding of Massachusetts cannabis regulations and inventory compliance Experience receiving inventory, conducting audits, and performing reconciliations Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficient with inventory systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Must be flexible and available to work some holidays, weekends, and open and close shifts as needed Must be at least 21 years old Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be able to pass a criminal background check Physical Requirements Stand for extended periods throughout the workday Walk frequently throughout the facility Frequently bend, reach, twist, stoop, and organize inventory Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds Compensation $19-$21/hour or hourly compensation based on experience Benefits Paid training Opportunities for growth and advancement Equal Opportunity Employer Webster Lake Cannabis is committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
