INVENTORY & RECEIVING COORDINATOR

Ullman's Tea & Wellness Ullman's Tea & Wellness is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Inventory & Receiving Coordinator to take ownership of the flow of merchandise into and through our store. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, accuracy and following things through to completion. You should be the kind of person who notices when something is missing, incorrect or out of place — and takes the initiative to resolve it.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Receiving Merchandise Receive incoming shipments and verify merchandise against orders and invoices. Check quantities, products and pricing for accuracy. Identify missing, damaged, incorrect or backordered merchandise. Make sure received products are properly processed and put away. Returns & Vendor Follow-Up Initiate returns of damaged, incorrect or unwanted merchandise. Prepare products and documentation for vendor returns. Follow up on outstanding returns, credits and discrepancies. Communicate unresolved issues to management. Inventory Oversight Maintain a good working overview of store inventory. Help identify low inventory, unexpected shortages and excess merchandise. Assist with inventory counts and inventory corrections. Help maintain an organized stockroom and storage areas. Pay attention to discrepancies between physical inventory and our inventory system. Organization & Follow-Through Keep receiving and inventory tasks organized and current. Maintain clear records of outstanding shipments, returns and vendor issues. Prioritize tasks and follow them through without requiring constant supervision. Communicate clearly with the Store Manager and other team members about merchandise and inventory issues.

We are looking for someone who is: Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented Accurate and dependable Comfortable working independently Able to prioritize several tasks Good at recognizing when something does not look right Willing to investigate discrepancies rather than simply move on Comfortable working with computers and inventory systems Able to communicate clearly and professionally A person who takes ownership of their responsibilities and follows through Previous retail, inventory, receiving, purchasing, warehouse or administrative experience is helpful, but attention to detail, organization and reliability are especially important to us.
