Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the overall inventory needs in inventory control and cycle counting within the warehouse as well. Essential Duties Include:

Be a team player, working cooperatively with customers, suppliers, drivers, co-workers and the key depts to meet our daily service demands. WMS transactions with accuracy and attention to detail. Initiate, implement and maximize strong customer service and inventory management practices, following our Standard Operating Procedures Maintain and support the highest Cold-Link customer service levels, handling customer requests and concerns in a timely, accurate and professional manner Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and powered industrial trucks (PIT), as trained, authorized, and certified. Use hand-held and vehicle-mounted RF scanners to complete warehouse transactions and maintain accurate product movement records. Utilize our Warehouse Management Systems and other office computer software and equipment as needed to support daily operations Assist with regular cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain accurate stock levels and document adjustments as directed. Work safely and efficiently in multi-temperature environments ranging from ambient to -20°F while wearing company-provided cold-weather gear. Maintain clean, organized, and food-safe work areas in accordance with sanitation, safety, and quality standards. Complete required equipment inspections and promptly report safety concerns, product damage, or equipment issues. Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and drivers to support inbound and outbound warehouse operations. Participate in safety meetings, training, and cross-training opportunities to support operational flexibility. Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as operational needs require, including working until the job is complete. Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned by the Leadership Team.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship. 2-5 years of Shipping-Receiving experience in cold storage warehouse preferred. Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, etc.) Experience with Warehouse Management System (Korber/Infios) is preferred Ability to accurately perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide) as required for daily warehousing tasks. Ability to read and understand written safety instructions, operational procedures, and training materials in English and communicate basic work-related information with supervisors and team members. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Willingness to cross-train and perform a variety of warehouse tasks based on operational needs. Commitment to following all safety, food safety, and quality standards. Represent and support management with a high level of professional integrity and operational discipline. Must have an acceptable driving record per Company guidelines. Able to work independently and collectively as a team leader. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Detail-orientated with close attention to requirements and requests Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items regularly, up to 50 lbs. Specific customer requirements may require up to 100 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for 8-12 hours per shift, often on concrete floors. Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, and reaching above shoulder height. Repetitive use of hands and arms for picking, packing, scanning items, or operating equipment. May be required to operate elevated equipment, such as a cherry picker, as trained and authorized. Ability to be in a multi-temperature warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from outside ambient to -20 degrees F. Cold-Link provides cold weather gear for staff members. This is a safety sensitive position. Applicants and employees in this role will be subject to pre-employment and ongoing substance screening, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy, to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
