Inventory and Organization Coordinator Blue Balloon Parties - 3.3 Astoria, NY Job Details Full-time $19 - $21 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Interpersonal skills Inventory management Driver's License Attention to detail Driving Theater experience Full Job Description Job Overview Blue Balloon Parties is looking for a reliable, organized, hands-on individual assistant to help keep our costumes, rentals, food concessions, and event supplies clean, organized, prepared, and ready for every event. This behind-the-scenes position is essential to ensuring our entertainers and event staff have everything they need to deliver an amazing experience for our clients. Duties Organize, clean, maintain, and prepare rental and costume inventory. Care for character costumes such as Cinderella, Spider-Man, clowns, princesses, superheroes, and other entertainment costumes. Make sure all costumes are properly washed, dried, sanitized, folded/hung, and presentable before going out to an event. Inspect costumes and rental items for damage, missing pieces, stains, or general wear and report issues. Prepare and organize costumes, props, supplies, and rental items for upcoming events. Ensure event staff and entertainers have all required items before leaving for an event. Clean and maintain food concession equipment and supplies. Prepare and prep food concession orders and event supplies. Keep the back-of-house/work area clean, organized, and ready for daily operations. Help with loading, unloading, organizing, and putting away event equipment and supplies. Maintain Blue Balloon Parties' standards for cleanliness, presentation, and organization. Assist with general event-preparation tasks as needed. Qualifications Reliable and punctual. Very organized and detail-oriented. Comfortable working independently and staying productive. Not afraid of hands-on work, cleaning, lifting, organizing, and repetitive tasks. Able to keep track of multiple items and event orders. Takes pride in cleanliness and presentation. Comfortable working around costumes, props, food concession equipment, and event supplies. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A team player who understands that the behind-the-scenes work is just as important as the event itself. A Plus! A valid driver's license and ability to drive is a major plus, especially for helping with transportation of costumes, rentals, supplies, and event equipment.
