Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Technician is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods while supporting warehouse and production operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy through physical counts, cycle counts, system reconciliation, and data management within the Epicor ERP system and other inventory tracking systems. This is a full-time hourly position working Monday-Thursday from 7am to 530pm and Fridays 7am-530pm as needed. Pay for this role is $20-$22 per hour.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Perform daily inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Complete physical counts of finished goods on incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Review shipping schedules and shipment reports.
  • Monitor inventory levels and FIFO compliance.
  • Conduct cycle counts of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Reconcile Epicor ERP and inventory system records.
  • Process inventory quantity adjustments as needed.
  • Review work order operations for accuracy.
  • Support Epicor training and create standard work procedures.
  • Recommend improvements to warehouse storage and material flow.
  • Assist other departments as assigned.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of inventory areas.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Strong attention to detail and counting accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and data entry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Epicor, preferred.
  • Lean manufacturing environment experience preferred. Note

Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
