Job Description
About the Role As a Maintenance Inventory Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing plant operations by managing critical spare parts, streamlining work order processing, and ensuring the accuracy of our maintenance inventory. You will be instrumental in reducing equipment downtime by maintaining precise stock levels and developing efficient job kits for our technical teams. Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of maintenance parts, from procurement and receiving to final installation. Utilize SAP and CMMS platforms to maintain accurate inventory records and generate essential performance reports. Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) to accelerate repair timelines and improve maintenance efficiency. Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure seamless material acquisition and supply chain continuity. Perform regular cycle counts and organize warehouse storage to ensure optimal accessibility and labeling. Execute Positive Material Identification (PMI) protocols to verify the integrity of all received and consumed components. Maintain a safe, compliant work environment by adhering to all environmental, health, and safety standards. Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. 1+ year of experience in warehouse operations or inventory control. Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and maintenance management software. Strong organizational skills with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and maintenance manuals. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. Certification or experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial hand tools. Understanding of ISO9001 or similar quality management standards.
