Administrative Office Manager Summary:

The Inventory Control Specialist is an office-based position responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records across multiple company buildings and locations. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Track and process inventory transfers between multiple company buildings and locations.
Maintain accurate and timely inventory records in company systems.
Coordinate and reconcile weekly cycle counts across multiple buildings.
Coordinate and reconcile the company's annual physical inventories.
Research, document, and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.
Process approved inventory adjustments and maintain supporting documentation.
Review inventory reports and transaction history to ensure accuracy.
Follow up on inventory discrepancies through resolution.
Maintain organized documentation for transfers, cycle counts, annual inventory, reconciliations, and adjustments.
Communicate significant or unresolved inventory issues to management.
Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Follow established inventory controls, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
Previous inventory control, inventory administration, data entry, or similar office experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage inventory information across multiple buildings and locations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Proficient with computer systems and accurate data entry.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and basic Microsoft Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Dependable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

This is an office-based inventory control position primarily performed at a desk using inventory management software, spreadsheets, reports, email, and electronic documentation.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires periods of sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull of objects up to 20 pounds as needed for general office duties.
