Responsibilities

Unpack, verify, and receive purchased items from vendors returns from customers

Receive in all other vendor purchase orders.

Perform inventory control duties including stock checks, cycle counts, transferring of material to appropriate departments, and all related system transactions.

Pull, pack and ship customer orders for Standard Tool catalog items.

Package and label "Specials" tool orders, verify quantity and shipping information, band and transfer to packing line.

Unpack weekly stock transport shipments as needed.

Verify counts and place incoming inventory items in proper storage locations.

Operate UPS shipping computer and scale to weigh and label sealed packages.

Place all outgoing packages into proper shipping container for pick-up by carrier.

Daily cleaning of work area to maintain clean, orderly and safe working conditions.

Qualifications:
Required:

One year general packaging, warehousing or material handling

Two years warehousing in a manufacturing environment with inventory control experience. Knowledge of SAP and cycle counting duties.

PREFERRED

Must have appropriate math skills to verify quantities

Basic computer skills with ability to enter inventory data, generate labels, locate stock locations and enter inventory amounts for incoming stock.

Type & spell accurately to enter detailed inventory information and verify accuracy.

Ability to understand a variety of written instructions and interpret unique directives for specific customers and situations.

Must be able to count and verify accuracy of large quantity orders.

Must be able to multi task daily

Must be able to safely handle customer orders without causing injury or damage.

May be required to use moveable stairs to reach high storage locations.
