This role combines the responsibilities of safe and efficient delivery driving with hands-on material handling within our warehouse environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring timely deliveries, proper handling of goods, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and excellent customer service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in logistics, driving, and warehouse management while contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented workplace. 1 SCOPE The Driver position is a Manufacturing position performing delivery and pickup tasks in the local area. This position is hourly, Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM. Temp to Perm status. 1.1 Reporting This position reports to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor. 2 RESPONSIBILITIES The Driver is responsible for delivering finished and/or in-process goods, in good condition and in a timely fashion, to appropriate destinations. In addition, the Driver is responsible for picking up materials, goods in process, and/or returned goods as circumstances dictate. All pickups and deliveries must be accompanied by complete and accurate paperwork. When no driving tasks assigned, required to support shipping, receiving, and stockroom tasks. 2.1 Duties

• Checks outgoing packaged parts for completeness of paperwork, proper quantities, and sturdiness of packaging.
• Loads/unloads parts using appropriate care in handling and positioning to avoid damage during transport.
• Checks incoming parts, materials, or in-process goods for completeness of paperwork, proper quantities, and sturdiness of packaging.
• Transports parts, materials, and/or in-process goods in a reasonable amount of time given time-of-day traffic conditions.
• Drives safely and carefully at all times and never compromises safety for schedule.
• Performs basic operational checks of company van/truck/powered industrial truck to assure safe operation and long service life (oil level, tire pressures, operating temperatures, etc.).
• Returns immediately to the company after completion of a delivery/pickup, making no personal stops or detours without specific authorization by his/her manager
• Package parts/assemblies and create packing lists for shipment to customers and suppliers
• Support Manufacturing and Production Control by packaging product for outside process and for shipment to customers
• Operate various P.

I.T.s to include propane forklift, electric forklift, electric pallet jack to move material throughout the warehouse. -Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients and team members 3 QUALITY & PERFORMANCE The performance of this position is measured by the reliable transportation of assigned goods, in good condition, in the allotted time. Damage to, or loss of, parts is not acceptable and is considered grounds for termination. 4 REQUIRED

SKILLS & EDUCATION

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to effectively speak, read and interpret shippers, packing slips, and other pertinent documentation in English.
• Must be able to keep simple records; carry out written and oral directions.
• Possess well-developed interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Self-motivated and able to perform job requirements with little to no supervision.
• Ability and desire to work meticulously and demonstrate consistent attention to detail.
• Ability to monitor own work to ensure quality.
• Organized and efficient in time-management.
• Comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Valid driver's license recognized by the state of California.
• No history of DUI or other serious driving offense 4.

1 Physical Requirements Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and peripheral vision. Required to stand and walk as a normal daily work posture. Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
