Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking Laborer to join our team in the petroleum equipment industry. Our company manufactures, repairs, and works with equipment used within the petroleum industry. This is a hands-on shop and warehouse position where duties can vary from day to day depending on production needs. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, takes pride in their work, follows instructions, and can be counted on to show up and give a good day's work. What You'll Do Responsibilities may include: Assist with the manufacturing, assembly, repair, and preparation of petroleum equipment and components Use hand tools, power tools, and other shop equipment safely and correctly Perform metal preparation, including sanding and preparing surfaces for painting Assist with painting and finishing processes Move, load, unload, and organize materials and equipment Operate a forklift when trained and authorized Assist with mechanical assembly and basic troubleshooting Perform repetitive or detailed production tasks as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow supervisor instructions, production procedures, and company safety requirements Learn new processes, equipment, and responsibilities as assigned Some tasks can be repetitive or tedious. Sanding metal and preparing equipment for paint is a necessary part of our production process, and all team members may be expected to assist with these duties when needed. Physical Requirements This is a physical shop/warehouse position.
Applicants must be comfortable with:
Standing and working on their feet for several hours at a time Regularly lifting and handling materials weighing 50 pounds or more Bending, reaching, carrying, pushing, and pulling Working around manufacturing equipment, tools, metal components, paint preparation, and other typical shop conditions Experience & Qualifications Previous manufacturing, warehouse, mechanical, or shop experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude and work ethic. Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: Forklift operation Mechanical or equipment assembly Hand and power tools Painting and paint preparation Electronics Soldering Warehouse operations Basic computer skills More important than having experience in every area, we are looking for someone who is: Reliable and dependable Trustworthy Willing to learn Able to follow instructions and retain training Safety-conscious Able to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented Willing to help wherever needed Interested in long-term employment and advancement Growth Opportunities We want employees who are interested in building a future with our company.
