In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to deliver appliances and assist with professional installation at customer locations. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will ensure appliances are installed correctly, efficiently, and with exceptional customer service. Duties Safely operate company box trucks and other vehicles to deliver appliances to residential or commercial sites. Assist with the unloading, handling, and proper placement of appliances at customer locations. Support the installation process by connecting electrical, plumbing, or ventilation components as needed, following schematics and technical instructions. Troubleshoot basic equipment issues during installation or delivery, ensuring appliances function correctly before leaving the site. Communicate professionally with customers to explain appliance features, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction. Use hand tools, power tools, and ladders effectively to assemble and install appliances according to manufacturer specifications. Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and safety documentation throughout each shift. Requirements Proven experience with appliance installation, repair, or field service work involving refrigeration, or electrical components. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and equipment troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of electrical work, plumbing connections, and assembly procedures related to appliances. Valid driver's license with experience operating a box truck or similar company vehicle; clean driving record preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Familiarity with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), electrical experience, or service technician roles is highly desirable. Ability to work physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy appliances safely and standing for extended periods.
